While the common walls and ceilings of many vans are shiplap wood or other labor intensive installs, I decided to go functional, quick and easy.
I contacted Advantage Outfitters, and purchased the DuraTherm Full Insulated Interior. Super simple installation using the existing connect points. It was not necessary to drill any holes! The whole job took less than a day.
Note: I did make in error in the install in that I used Rivnuts and not Plusnuts, which i think may have been a better choice. Also, I used the provided push connectors in several places (due to poor planning.) It was a bit of a pain to removed the push connectors and replace them with the Rivnuts. Oh well..
Rear doors
Shabazan arrived with these panels of the rear doors…
New walls installed
Here, Shabazan show off the new side and ceiling panels. The integrated insulation of the panels can only help with temperature and sound mitigation.
Slider
As delivered, Shabazan had this half panel on the slider. Shabazan was NOT about it!
