Shabazan has an all-in-one diesel heater (AKA Chinese heater) that is mounted under the driver-side bench seat. It is simple enough and quite effective – even though the pump tick can be a bit annoying.
I also have a true compressor AC system from ZeroBreeze that is permanently mounted in the shelf over the wet room. The BTU is not great but it is sufficient to cool off the bed area, which is 6’x6′ and about 4′ of airspace. I do draw a curtain at night to preserve the cooling zone. The ElecHive power station, also from ZeroBreeze outputs the 24v power needed. And at 2500 Watt/hour it can run the AC all night with plenty left to spare.
